Army Reserve Colonel Ivan N. Black has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general and assignment as deputy commander (individual mobilization augmentee), Surface Deployment Distribution Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Black is currently serving as staff offi cer, Troop Program Unit, 96th Regional Readiness Command, Salt Lake City, Utah.
Boeing has named Anthony M. Parasida president of its Global Services & Support (GS&S) business. GS&S, an operating unit of Integrated Defense Systems, provides global after-delivery support for military platforms and systems, and a broad array of defense and government services.
Michael A. Aimone has joined Battelle as vice president, strategy development, after completing a distinguished career of federal service with the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a member of the Senior Executive Service. ♦
