Sea Truck Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Lee, Va., intends to directly solicit (under RFP W91QF5-10-R-0004) and award a sole source firm fixed price contract with AEPLOG, Inc, a small business firm for the initial testing and research services to permit mission-enhancing testing for the Army. The proposed contract will allow continuation of non-personal services to conduct test trials of Autonomous Sustainment Cargo Container (Sea Truck), measuring capability in various sea state conditions to a range of specific testing load center-of-gravity weights and speeds. Further, test results are to be provided to the Army such that projections may be made concerning survivability and throughout projections for sustainment operations under real world conditions. This instrument to be tested was developed by AEPLOG, Inc. and they hold the proprietary and patent rights. Back to Top
