Mae De Vincentis has been named the next vice director of the Defense Logistics Agency. A member of the Senior Executive Service and a long-time DLA team member, she has served as the agency’s director, logistics operations since January 8.
Captain David J. Gale, who has been selected for promotion to rear admiral (lower half), will be assigned as commander, Regional Maintenance Center, Norfolk, Va. Gale is currently serving as deputy, SEA-21 for readiness, Surface Warfare (SEA 21A), Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C.
Marine Corps Reserve Colonel Roger R. Machut has been nominated for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Machut is currently serving as deputy commander, 4th Marine Logistics Group in New Orleans, La.
Major General Robert H. McMahon, director, logistics, deputy chief of staff, logistics, installations and mission support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., has been assigned to commander, Warner Robins Air Logistics Center, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.
Army Brigadier General Lynn A. Collyar has been selected as the new director of DLA Logistics Operations. Collyar most recently served as chief of ordnance for the Army. He also was commander of the U.S. Army Ordnance Center and commandant of the U.S. Army Ordnance School at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. He has presided over the school’s consolidation and upcoming relocation to Fort Lee, Va.’s Missile and Munitions Center.
Major General Judith A. Fedder, director, logistics, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va., has been assigned to director, logistics, deputy chief of staff, logistics, installations and mission support, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
Brigadier General Mark A. Atkinson, director, logistics, installations and mission support, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Base, Germany, has been assigned to director, logistics, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Langley Air Force Base, Va.
Brigadier General John B. Cooper, commander, 309 Maintenance Wing, Ogden Air Logistics Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, has been assigned to director, logistics, installations and mission support, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.
Gunnery Sergeant Timothy Murphy has been recognized as the Tobyhanna Army Depot’s Warfighter of the Quarter for going “above and beyond” to support members of the Marine Wing Support Squadron 472, Detachment A—often assuming dual leadership roles.
John Hall has been named the Defense Logistics Agency’s new deputy director for logistics operations. A member of the Senior Executive Service, Hall currently serves as executive director of operations and sustainment, DLA Logistics Operations.
Fred Baillie has been named as Defense Logistics Agency chief of staff concurrent with his position as director of the DLA Accountability Office. As the chief of staff he will provide oversight to the DLA Director’s staff organizations as well as DLA Strategic Plans and Policy. As he director of the DLA Accountability Office, he oversees all criminal and administrative investigations, as well as financial and program audit actions for the agency.
Ted Case has been selected as director of DLA Information Operations. Case has served as interim director of DLA Information Operations for the last eight months.
Phil Jasper has been named vice president of business development for Rockwell Collins Government Systems, while Dave Nieuwsma takes over Jasper’s former position as vice president and general manager of mobility and rotary wing solutions for Rockwell Collins. ♦
